A selection of guests connected by their love of food and wine unite to celebrate the final evening of a world-famous seaside Catalan restaurant before it closes its doors for good.

Beautiful best-selling writer Rachel (Claudia Bassols), is separated from her doctor husband Marc (Jan Cornet, The Skin I Live In, Barcelona Summer Night, SFF14) but they have agreed to meet again for this occasion of a lifetime. Amongst the select few joining them at the event are the cheeky Countess D'Arcy (Fionnula Flanagan, The Others), a mysterious Walter Reilly (Stephen Rea), and two Japanese potential buyers of the restaurant, being hosted by an endearing but motor-mouthed Mina (Marta Torné).

Over the course of the evening, these VIP guests will get more than just the meal they bargained for. The intimacy of the event will give rise to both humour and drama as strangers become friends and lovers become enemies. Delectable dishes are generously delivered by head chef Mar (Vicenta N'Dongo), as the tension mounts with each course served and passions are bought to a head.

Emili Guirao’s photography is richly textured complementing each delicious angle of the mouth-watering meals and stunning seaside location. This film is truly a food-fetishists’ delight, served with healthy sides of drama and comedy.
