Fabián (Darío Grandinetti, Talk to Her) and Mariela (Carolina Peleritti) are the perfect couple complete with successful careers, a large house in a wealthy neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, and a teenage daughter. However, things are never what they seem in this surprising romantic drama.
When an executive from his bank dies, Fabián falls into a crisis. As he walks through the park that same day, he encounters a famous blind author (Federico Luppi, Pan’s Labyrinth), who tries to help him through his troubles. Following his advice on a daily basis, Fabián embarks on an obsessive affair with Alicia (Antonella Costa), a young and wild artist that he considers his inevitable love.
Meanwhile, his psychologist wife Mariela is suffering daily as her suspicions grow about Fabián. She treats patient Olga (Mabel Rivera, The Sea Inside), an insufferable and embittered woman who tries to take her frustration out on her. As Alicia’s interest in Fabián wanes, the consequences of his infidelity become horribly clear.
Romance in all its forms, good and bad, appear in this intricate drama where chance and unexpected circumstances reign.
